Applicable Models: Defender MP70, Defender MP100

Note: Before starting the steps below, please ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged.


1. Unscrew the 2 screws on the air inlet grill and detach the air inlet grill from the unit. 

 

2. Slide the filter to the right and pull it out.

 

3. Locate the 2 float switches, as shown in the image below.

 

4. Gently wiggle both float switches to ensure they are not stuck or obstructed, as demonstrated in the following video.

 

5. Pour the recommended amount of water (27 oz for MP70, 64 oz for MP100) into the water tray through the opening, as shown below.

6. Reinsert the filter and reinstall the air inlet grill. Then, restart the dehumidifier to check if the pump resumes normal function. If the issue persists, please contact us anytime at service@moiswell.com.
